VIOLET DAY
In terms of the favourite flower of Queen Elisabeth.
As it’s known, that Queen Elisabeth had her suites decorated with the colour of her favourite flower, the Violet. When Queen Elisabeth visited Gödöllő, plenty of violet-coloured pansies and violets were planted in the Queen’s garden. Following this tradition the Royal Palace of Gödöllő bursts into bloom every Spring and welcomes the vistors with rich and varied programmes.
